The game was addicting at first. But like every game, it starts to slow down after a while. Summoning rates are low, even for focused characters. Unless you are lucky. Friend system does nothing else except acquire you more upgrading items. Otherwise, you will need to spend a lot of money on this game. It just gets boring and annoying after a while. I now just log in everyday for the daily items.
This is the only mobile game I've been able to play for months and not get bored. I've sunk hundreds of hours into it which is amazing considering this is a free game. The only somewhat negative thing about the game is the summoning. Even after spending some money on it, I still get multiple (usually 3*) repeats of units I already have. It is an entertaining challenge to go into PVP with only a team of Donnels or Roys, though. Besides that, this is an extremely fun and addicting game that I'll probably continue to play for a long time. Good for people both old and new to the series.
The game is really solid... For a mobile game. It's a perfect FE game for the phone that captures the gameplay of the original well. There's a lot of flaws like there being only four characters you can control in one battle. The combat mechanics are no where near as deep as the originals, you only get ONE skill, small maps etc. In terms of getting characters, there's microtransactions and RNG. BUT, exceptionally I did not mind this much, as you get enough orbs by just playing. This is also a free game so it's understandable for Nintendo to add microtransactions. Overall, my favourite mobile game I've played.
This game is a typical Japanese-style strategy RPG with gacha elements, but there's some surprising depth in the gameplay. I've never had the time to get involved in the FE series (which is a shame, because they seem great), but I find myself loving this regardless. It's fairly generous with gacha rates and I love the unique summoning system that gives you some control over who you get. If you like the main series or other tactics games like Disgaea (none of that humor here, though), I'm sure you'll find this a fun time-waster.
The graphics is very good, the voice overs are good enough, also more ways to earn the needed stuff to level your units (namely the feathers) - not just PVP, since PVP is mostly pay to win style. Yes, after a few days of playing no matter how good you are you will be ALWAYS get beaten in PVP by players with ALL 5star units. Either they sunk alot of money in the game or from what I see online hacked the game. So in the end you can't get any feathers to level up your units. Becomes a very frustrating game. Summon rates are also a joke you have to spend 100+ orbs to get anything good meaning spending at least more than $50.00 for a chance to get something good. This is not a nice game for the casual player. Even with the new content it is still caters to a pay to win style.
It's a good game. Great for fans of Fire emblem and others. Gameplay is simple but can be very challenging too. One of the few mobile games that I play besides Duel Links. These two games have a quality that you can't find in other mobile games. Good luck to you Nintendo and keep making quality games
