Lollipop 5.0 already disappoints me I just upgraded to L5.0 on my Samsung tablet 4. It came with the volume slider in the notification panel, but when I upgraded it disappeared. So I found this app and it works great. Hopefully they will work out the reason why the slider is not included with L5.0. Or I hope I can uninstall it. This app is worth it. Thank God it is out there, and the wonderful person who created it.
Not the prettiest app but gets the job done It's baffling to me how Google has not yet added a shortcut for media volume control in Android Lollipop. Makes me wonder if they even use their own devices. This app allows you to control media volume easily without having to go into settings and without having to open a media app first to use the volume buttons on your phone. I wish the app matched the nice look of lollipop but I will be using it until Google fixes this issue.
Exactly what I need - you probably need it too I've wanted an app that does this for months, but only just managed to track this one down. My tablet's frequently lying on the desk or sitting in a stand, playing music or a movie. If I need to adjust the volume, I don't want to grapple around the edge of the device, fingers on both sides to balance the pressure, and hunt for the physical volume controls. What I WANT is a quick flick across the screen - and this app gives me just that with volume buttons in the notification shade where they're a flick away. Simple and perfect - thank you so much.
This does what it say it doez Great free app. I have a really fidgety protective case and this resolves me from looking for the volume rocker all the time. It would be nicer if it was a visual slider with volume level indicator
Bringing sanity back to Lollipop Volume Controls This app does just what is says. It provides handy volume controls in your notification shade. It has mute and vol up and down. No noticeable overhead or battery drain.
Perfect. This app is perfect for the job of giving you easy access to your phone volume control. It has a volume % gauge to let you see quickly what level your is at. Google should snap this app up and include it as a stock app. Only improvement could be in the aesthetics; it's not the best looking app, but it's usefulness out weighs it's dreary look. A must have app.
v1.6: If the device is muted with the app and not used for an extended period, the previous volume level will now be remembered after unmuting.
v1.5: Added option to pin near status bar when activated. This can help to prevent the volume control from being pushed out of view by other notifications.

Note: The control uses buttons because it's not possible to put a sliding volume bar in the Notifications window.
