ACR (Another Call Recorder) is a free call recorder application. It is one of the best and most advanced call recorders in the Play Store and offers many advanced features such as:

Some phones do not support call recording properly. This is due to capabilities of different chipset/CPU or Android version each brand/model have.

This app used to be perfect for call recording. Due to some sort of phone/Google/Samsung/? changes, it suddenly stopped working. I read yesterday that someone found it was working again, so I tried a call and it did! But I just received a call and it gave me a message saying it couldn't record it - asking me to enable accessibility services which isn't clear what selection in accessibility services to activate. So pretty useless still.

Dont update to the new version. Didnt anybody read the letter ACR sent (not scanned it, READ it, it clearly tells you what to do). And yes then you have to manually update your apps, (you shouldn't auto update your apps anyway) but it's a couple clicks a day at most. Much easier than entering in each phone number. Note:if you accidentally hit update, immediately hit the stop button. *Turn off your wifi if you want a call to record*

Cannot block non-essential permissions (access to contact list) and still use the app, so I don't trust it at all. Sneaky dark pattern. edit (reply to the reply): Of course a Call recorder app should easily be able to record without access to my contact list, what a preposterous thing to argue against. I don't mind it putting the phone number in the file name. There are several apps that successfully do this, and I will be using one of those instead of yours. And yes, not being able to gracefully handle revocation of non-essential permissions, especially such privacy-sensitive permissions, is a sneaky dark pattern. Maybe your app is not going to harvest and sell my contact list, but it sure is acting like such an app.
