This negative review is meant to stimulate some action from CBC to fix this app. Problems: 1) when playing an episode of World Report it automatically plays the next version of the broadcast which is out of date - please stop this feature; 2) it isn't clear from any of the news podcasts which episode one is listening to; 3) if the news is live and midway through, you can't start from the beginning of an earlier broadcast episode as you used to be able to. The older version was much better.

Edit: (After the most recent update it began opeming. I will give it stars until I can test more.) My recently installed app on my Android phone will not open or connect. A pop-up keeps saying the app keeps stopping - something that is quit obvious. Rebooting the phone has no . effect. Hate to give it one star, but since it can't be used, this is the only option.

3 things: 1) When playing live radio the stream will occasionally stop. Either it will show a loading circle or or will stop on its own entirely. 2) when playing certain radio programs (ex Marvin's room and front burner) I am either not able to play the episode at all with an error. Or I can play the shows but the playback bar won't let me fast forward the programs it just plays back to where I've already been listening. Even if I download the specific program still same issue.
