Excellent Everything you've admired about the desktop version here in the app. It works in exactly the same way. Simple, elegant, accurate; truly excellent - and this is on a modest Moto 2nd gen running Marshmallow. Update: Don't touch the satellite overlay. There's a bug which propagates, knocking out the constellation overlay and, much more importantly, the proper star names (not the Bayer and Flamsteed designations) in the identification window that pops up when you select a star. Needed to reinstall. One star off until it's fixed.
Brilliant I use the desktop version and it's simple and accurate. I'm so pleased that on my tablet and phone it performs just as well, excellent work.
Stopped showing any satellites at all , works ok apart from that, but only when its not locking up , im being very generous giving it 1 star because it has the potential to be a great app.
The Best! But Please Fix satellite functionality for Galaxy S7 Edge !!! Maybe its because of the Android 6.01 or The phone itself?? It used to work fine on S5 and other older devices. Everything works except satellites view mode on S7Edge phone. It makes the app get stuck until you uncheck the satellite view icon. Hope it gets fixed soon.
Love it I love it, after the desktop app i had to install also the mobile. There is one small problem, the "constellation line" option doesn't work for me, nothing happens when I press it. I have nexus 4 with CM 12.1. I hope you'll fix that in the next update. EDIT: The constellation line thickness should be 3 or more, and then it is visible.
I didn't even knew there was a mobile version, I'm a huge fan of the PC version and bought this eyes closed. Works great and very much the same experience as the PC version, thanks to the bigger screen of my LG G4. Would recommend it to anyone who uses the PC version & doesn't wants to take their laptops every time with them for stargazing. Not really sure why this is paid when the PC version is free, but how awesome this app is, I won't mind if I had to pay for the PC version too.
