Good choice for The Old Reader users I use this app on my Nexus 5X phone and Pixel C tablet. Tablet version is imo better in terms of layout. The filters/sorting UI could be more intuitive on both phone and tablet. It does seem a bit buggy lately, when I tap on an article that's meant to open in Chrome, it simply won't do that. I don't know if it's a bug or if I've got the settings wrong.
Love this app. Managing read and unread articles is very easy and the UI is very intuitive. It's lightweight and has wonderful offline functionality. It would be nice to see and optional new article notifications with some kind of indication from which feed the new article comes, but this is just a feature I'd like to see in the future. It's honestly a bit unnecessary.
Great google reader app. In terms of usability is the best of what I've tried so far. Although offline caching is not very smooth experience. Update: haven't been using for a long time, this time round can't even login to google and all my rss settings are on the google account. Logs in fine in pc browser.
Was 5 star. It started having problems and the developer has been totally unresponsive to emails. Multiple feeds stop updating and I have to unsubscribe then resubscribe to get them working right again. They fail again a week or so later. I didn't even get an acknowledgment that they received my email.
Don't usually buy apps, but this one is the best I found of it's kind. I would like to see the filter option at the individual feed level instead of all feeds. So when I filter out the words "!dead | !murder | !killed" etc. that I don't want to see in my local news, it is also going to filter it out on my movies, games and other feeds.
New Showstopping Bugs Double tap to read full article provides random article in a random language. This used to be my go-to reader, but is useless until it is fixed. Online forums seem to include the Pro version as misbehaving, too. I will be using my Feedly app now.
