Good choice for The Old Reader users I use this app on my Nexus 5X phone and Pixel C tablet. Tablet version is imo better in terms of layout. The filters/sorting UI could be more intuitive on both phone and tablet. It does seem a bit buggy lately, when I tap on an article that's meant to open in Chrome, it simply won't do that. I don't know if it's a bug or if I've got the settings wrong.
Feedly Google log in is broken 403. That’s an error. Error: disallowed_useragent This user-agent is not permitted to make an OAuth authorization request to Google as it is classified as an embedded user-agent (also known as a web-view). Per our policy, only browsers are permitted to make authorization requests to Google. We offer several libraries and samples for native apps to perform authorization requests in the browser.
No idea why this is rated so highly. Its terrible. YouTube videos will not show video within the app. Just a black window and audio. Unchecking the "In-app YouTube player option"? That does absolutely nothing. Still opens the video inside the app with zero video. Unlike every other app, there is no option to open it in another app. Not impressed at all.
Used to be the best rss reader app Hey! Readability integration is not working anymore! When double-tab the article it just opens some random web page which is not on my RSS subscription. Without working Readability the app is almost useless! Please fix it! Used to have 5 stars before that bug happened...
It's feature-rich and highly customizable. However, especially the article view is extremely laggy and shows flaky scrolling behaviour. It would be fine if you were able to completely disable the in-app browser, but I didn't find a way to do that.
Love this app. Managing read and unread articles is very easy and the UI is very intuitive. It's lightweight and has wonderful offline functionality. It would be nice to see and optional new article notifications with some kind of indication from which feed the new article comes, but this is just a feature I'd like to see in the future. It's honestly a bit unnecessary.
