Unqualified Best RSS Reader This incomparably feature-rich app was my favorite reader, but I thought it was a gonner, so I tried others. Then the 04/16 update came and I was thrilled, but I couldn't find the setting to use my preferred browser. Finally found it under Reading Preferences > Article Controls. Happy again. Very grateful to the dev for keeping this wonderful reader alive!
Great app, finally the developers picked it up again The app is great, i use it to read my feedly feeds. It had some annoying bugs that made me go back to feedly as the developers seemed to have abandoned this app. However the app is now updated finally and seems to be working better. If it will be maintained as it should be, ill give it a 5 star. Update :still the font size changes now and then when scrolling, very annoying.
Would it be possible to include an option to change the toolbar color while on a dark theme? For example, I would have the "dark" theme with a green toolbar. Also, Chrome Custom Tabs is not working to my liking. I'd like for the article to immediately load in a CCT, not load in the internal browser then having to press the Chrome icon to open the link in a CCT.
Gets worse every version Hated new GUI animations, which only slows down user experience. Now, share link requires an extra tap to select from only one option (Pocket, which I have configured as default), which is completely ridiculous. I regret having paid for this... In fact, I was happy for paying for the version there was one year ago, not this new crApp. Stop developing for worse, please. If something really good doesn't get updates, it's ok... Don't worry, don't worsen things.
browser issue is fixed You can once again open links to an external browser by default. Devs are listening, thank you!
All I wanted was an RSS-reader that automatically downloads my favourite podcast to a designated folder for me.. Can gReader Pro do that? Unfortunately not. It's easy to set up and get to work, but the built-in mediaplayer functionality is crap (no way of remembereing where I last stopped listening, doesn't stay neatly in the background for easy pause/play, etc). Would be awesome if it was possible to download each rss-feed's media files to an own designated location without any changes made to the file names, but as it works right now it's pretty much useless to me and no refund is available.
