Good, but can be great... So far the game is better than Prologue. As some other users have stated the AI most of the time devolves into a logic loop. I've had games where the AI will just go back and forth on the same area for the entire game. I'm still waiting for cross platform multiplayer! I own the Steam version as well, but I end up playing the mobile version more due to the expansion's being reasonably priced.
This is a fantastic game! I love this game. I've bought all the dlc, and will probably pick up all the rest when they come out. The updates have been exactly right so far. I have noticed a bit of a bug though when the Grumpy Wizard card from the City expansion comes into play. It basically just freezes the game apparently waiting for the AI to make a decision. Otherwise, this game is with awesome, and I can't wait for the Woodland expansion!
Faithful adaptation of a problematic game Well...it's Talisman. The developer deserves props for an elegant app, that functions very responsively. It also looks very nice. The problem is...Talisman. If you are unfamiliar, be warned: the game is extremely random. You frequently have few meaningful decisions, and negative rolls can cause far more harm than good rolls can provide benefits. If you are already a fan of this game, or other very random low-skill games, enjoy.
SDRAM support. First, great digital implementation of Talisman. If you like the board game, you'll like this. Second, kudos for making hi res graphics and better sound an OPTIONAL download. Now if only these things could go onto the SDRAM instead of main memory, I'd give it an extra star.
Found a bug Great game! Bug : in a 2 player game, I am monk, A.I. is fighter. Fighter cast "immobility" on me, I lost my next turn. Then fighter lands on "Woods", rolls badly, and gets lost ( he also loses turn). Now game is just sitting still. No one has a turn lol
Faithful reproduction of a classic As a diehard Talisman 2nd edition fan I was extremely impressed with the app rendition of this boardgame. Loads of fun and house rule customizations. My only criticism is that there should be a way to adjust the font size on cards. They can be difficult to read on a small screen. Used on a nexus 9.
- Fixed a networking issue which was causing the frame rate to drop.
- Fixed being unable to switch the Nether Realm expansion on.
- Fixed other players being able to see the Nether card that the Spy was viewing secretly.
- Fixed issues related to the Tavern Maid's 'pour a drink' ability.
This ain’t no ordinary maze! Hallways and junctions change with every turn!
Hit the road for a life of adventure in this version of the classic boardgame!
