Look lazily upward into the Channelwood Age trees. Relax next to the rippling fountain as the sun sets in the Selenitic Age. Spin around for a full panoramic tour of Sirrus’ throne room. Seek shelter from the thunderstorm in Stoneship Age.

And what could possibly make that experience even more real? Now you can have all of that on your mobile device with nothing between you and Myst but the touch of your finger - the sheerest of interfaces between you and the surrealistic island adventure that will become your world.

What a great update to a classic game! Takes me right back to my childhood--except now with the ability to use the first person controls to explore every nook and cranny. The real-time effects (shadows, water, lights) are also an excellent addition. I'm curious how this project came to be--it would seem that the original developers/content was involved given the apparent exactness of the re-creation. Whatever the case, thank you, I love it!

The original Myst is a masterpiece on PC. This Android port… Well… The touch controls are quite annoying. It claims to work on Android TV (requiring a gamepad), but that's not true. Gamepad is NOT supported, and the game can't be properly played on TV, because the virtual mouse pointer can't control the game. This port was meant to be played on a real touch screen, and even then it is imprecise to control. Oh, and it claims to require storage access, but still works fine if the permission is denied.

I was mesmorized by this game as a kid back in the 90's and it still stands the test of time today! Re-playing it brought back so much nostalgia. The puzzles were still quite challenging, even for my 37 year old self, but well worth figuring out. Such an original storyline and beautiful design! This is a great re-make. I saw some other reviews listing bugs in the game, but I didn't experience any issues whatsoever. Very smooth gameplay with easy controls and fast loading. Highly recommended!!
