Finally on Android I'm not a big mobile gamer and don't play many games on my phone. That being said, this is the only app that I was missing back when I switched from iOS to Android. I'm glad to see that everything that I love about the game is intact and gameplay is still just as simple and fun as I remember. Great game, and worth the price! Also, I'm glad that they did IAPs the right way. Letting you buy fun extra things without shoving them down your throat every 10 seconds.
A unique "Tetris Platformer" I feel there is no better way to describe this game than as a Tetris platformer. You navigate your way up a tower of blocks that falls from the sky and stack on top of each other. However, the best part about that game is the character pack that contains the one and only Jim F*****g Sterling, Son! Thank God for him.
Fun, if a bit slow Maybe it's because I'm just starting out, or maybe because my phone is a year old, but while the game is incredibly fun, it feels like I'm jumping through water. That aside, it's a well made game with some simple, tight mechanics. Also, I haven't been pressured to spend any money in-game yet, so that's a plus.
Writing a review to unlock a character That would be all i'd have to say if i didnt actually have something to say. Funtastic game it should be said, but there are times when the game will feeze and crash, especially when on the pause screen trying to quit out into the main menu.... now give me my character.
YES! I loved this game so much years ago, and just forgot about it. I still remember how i was trying to download the amazing soundtracks so badly x'd. (Is made by Chris T Geehan, hes great) just downloaded it, gonna have so good'ol fun ;
Polished Visuals and Audio The Blocks Cometh is a decent vertical scroller. It has very well executed visuals and audio, there is however a distinct lack to the game. While I am all about mechanics over story, there just doesn't seem like a lot variety to the kinds of challenges I've encountered in game( so far I've only gone maybe to about 5000 m ). I think at the core there may have been a design flaw, because climbing vertically endlessly is not rewarding in and of itself for me. It's aesthetically polished enough though.
