From time to time VPN drops the connection and/or gets hung or something. Then I have to disconnect and reconnect to get the network going again. There was another update today, so I had to log in again, which is somewhat understandable. When I tested Nord VPN it was faster and cost less than my previous. Hope today's update fixes the issues I'm seeing. If not, I'll try TCP and then have to move on if there is still no joy
I hate how often it disconnects and I'm infuriated how long it takes to reconnect. But there was a deal on a two year plan, and NordVPN is respected for it's privacy. I hate how it doesn't reliably auto connect on boot up or restart. What's the point of buying this is you have to baby it into doing what it should already do.
Not a bad VPN; however, the mobile app could use some work. The first issue that needs attention is the fact that it continues to disconnect. Next, there are almost no config settings. This greatly reduces its effectiveness. Other than that, I would like to have the kill switch setting.
Easy to use, and nice for security. For some reason the app keeps signing me out, so every few days I have to log in again which is annoying. I changed my review from 3 to 4 stars because the developer replied they're aware of the issue and will address it in future updates.
Sometimes I'll notice that the app is no longer running and the VPN connection has been lost. There is no indication of what happened to it. This is disconcerting as my email and other apps have been syncing in the background over an unsecured connection. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a VPN.
The transition between 4G when on the move and wireless when at home etc. has the rather frustrating point of dropping out completely. This leads to having reconnect manually when you notice (if you notice). If the reconnection could be managed more effectively it would be 5 stars from me! 🤓
