This app is worthless. It refuses to accept my password when I try to set it up.
Goes offline too much otherwise this system would be very good.
Stopped a burglary Had someone break into my house while I was out of town. The Novi alarm activated as it should have, flashed, and sent me the alarm. The burglar panicked, grabbed a single item and ran out the door. The item grabbed was actually of no value, so I lost nothing. Very glad I had the Novi installed and active. Pics could be a little clearer and would like the ability to schedule activation. Still it saved me, so 5 stars.
A pain to set up, apparently only a few scenarios were tested. It works when you get over the setup hurdles, but it is unusable anywhere where more than one person lives in the house, especially with kids, due to a lack of ability to arm/disarm on a schedule. Devs, look at Tado app and how they did scheduling. Also, really, add the ability to turn the flash off. Without scheduling and with the flash permanently on, this device ends up disarmed all the time. UPDATE 2/27: Logged on session times out at random, when you need to use the app you learn from a modal WINDOW_WITH_SUCH_ERROR_MESSAGES, that you are no longer logged in. Still feels like an alpha-stage app.
Bad first impression: pasting in my password took forever. The paste menu rarely popped up. There seems to be something wrong with the text fields.
Right now it's really like throwing money away It's just too slow, glitchy, and goes offline. Their support is nice and all, but when the hardware and software isn't there, not much they can do. They made some technical design decisions to support battery life that may prevent them from being able to get the speed the system needs to be usable. I think they made poor decisions. UI of app is not very good. Just a lot wrong.
