I bought this app a few years ago before it was free a few weeks after it came out. If you are expecting this to be a comprehensive music app like soundcloud or spotify look elsewhere. I give this app five stars because taking it for what it is, a curated weekly list of new music, it is phenomenal. The UI is great and the music selection is nice and relaxing. I normally never listen to this type of indie music but it is relaxing music to play in the background or do homework to,
Worth it for the music but hoping to see updates to app A lot of people have already commented on the app design with some great points. My main issue is that it doesn't pause and play when I press the play button on my bluetooth headset. I still recommend people download it for the excellent music, though, which is why I am giving it a 4 star rating. If the App development receives an appropriate amount more lovin from the devs I'll bump it to 5.
Excellent music, lazy app Noon Pacific is great at putting together awesome playlists - PERFECT for my taste in music and always fresh - but the app is pretty weak. You have to play each playlist from the beginning, cant see the contents of playlists, and can only skip fwd a couple songs per playlist. On the iOS version you can see a list of the songs in each playlist (w/ links to soundcloud, sharing, etc) and you can skip songs reliably. I'd recommend listening to Noon Pacific via SoundCloud until the devs do something.
Five stars for encouragement. What I like about this app is that it is really simple. Someone creates a terrific play list and shares it. We get to skip ahead to the next song, or listen to an earlier list. Don't like the selection? Come back next week. OK, the app itself still needs some growth. I also love that there are almost no NSA-friendly privacy permissions required (so far).
Please make this app do more! Great music! Beautiful design! However in the iPhone version, you can see your played tracks as well as links to soundcloud why not here? At least the now playing in the notifications menu.....pebble support? Ok now I'm being greedy :-P
Best $2 I've ever spent. The app is downright gorgeous, and the music is just sex for my earholes. Hands down, I recommend this for ANYONE that loves music. My only issue is that I'd like this app to have notification shade controls. It would make the whole process far more streamlined.
