About this app

Warning: PPGpS Wear works ONLY on Android Wear smartwatches.

With PPGpS Wear you can get the flight information you want conveniently on your wrist.

It displays the flight parameters coming from PPGpS on your smartwach:
altimeter, variometer, ground speed, bearing, distance, elapsed time and waypoint information.

How does it works ?
You need PPGpS classic running on your smartphone or tablet.
PPGpS is sharing flight data with PPGpS Wear and PPGpS Wear transmits the data to your smartwatch.

How to configure the system ?
1) To configure PPGpS to share data in real time:
Use the PPGpS classic Settings/Smartwatch menu to enable the communication. You may also select the desired update frequency.
This has to be done only once, the communication will be activated automatically each time your start PPGpS.

2) Launch PPGpS on your smartphone as you always do before your flights.
PPGpS Wear will be automatically launched on your smartwatch.

Ratings and reviews

The app only kinda works, it's very outdated wind direction and bearings are not working. Altitude and speed is working even if some times not displayed in the right location. Buy at your own risk. I think it's a bit silly to pay for this after paying for the main app when this is not even properly maintained.

Doesn't seem to work with my Samsung smart watch. Loads via the phone through Google Play but doesn't appear on my phone's menu. Surely it should be loaded to the watch via the ios "Wear" app pre-installed on the phone?...but to load it that way it would need to be available on the Samsung store, which it is not. Shame there's no support. Nice idea.

I bought this app along with PPGPS for my Samsung Gear 3 Watch as it says it was compatible, but it is not, as I can see from other peoples reviews also, are you folks going to make good on this and make it work for us or at least compensate our cost we paid you for a supposedly working app, Please? 1 star until it works, it looks like a wonderful app and would love to use it..
