I've been trying to sign up for the past week. Had to upload ID documents more than 10 times. Wouldn't accept my residence car, so used mynumber card and was accepted, but then email said I needed to upload residence card to show my length of stay (even though it's on the mynumber card). No explanation of why it was cancelled several times, only automated emails. No way to contact someone. Poor customer experience. Don't use.

To applicants: I wish they made this more clear during the application process, but you will need to select the 在留カード card option and then chose the verification option that involves taking a pic of your passport if you are a foreigner without at least full-time residence or you will be denied. If you only do the face verification instead of the additional passport pics you will also be denied.

If there is an option for English language then it will be more helpful
