This app is very useful for strength and conditioning coaches or athletic trainers for testing balance of their athletes. Balance improvement is a crucial recovery phase after injuries which makes this app a good tool for monitoring athlete's recovery process.
After the measurement the program will store the time/angle data into a database. You can import data into spreadsheet or other statistical software for further analysis. The goal of this test is to maintain the balance board in horizontal position (angle zero).
This Application was developed in collaboration with Faculty of Sport (University of Ljubljana) and Slovenian nine-pin bowling association.

Body Balance now features a quick and easy RM calculator! You can calculate any rep max range from 1-12, based on an existing weight and rep range you already know. It allows you to use any of the most popular formulas. The application has also been updated for copy paste functionality app-wide. Long press a weight set value to paste into it directly. There's also a lb-kg calculator in case you need one.
Once you choose your base exercise and input a weight for the lift, Body Balance will give you expected lift weights for some other exercises. You can input your actual numbers to determine muscle groups that may be lagging. The numbers are for a given rep range, so if you input a number for a 5RM as the base exercise, the expected values correspond to 5RM numbers.
Body Balance supports Imperial and Metric units.
NOTE: Body Balance is NOT designed to estimate what you should be lifting and should NOT be used for this purpose. It is strictly for your existing lift numbers. Do NOT use it to estimate numbers for new exercises. Please be smart about your weightlifting!

The calculations used by this app work for the vast majority of people.
The two groups of users the calculations do not work for are extreme athletes and those users with a very high body mass index ('morbidly obese, category III'). In these cases the app can still track your diet however it will be unable to suggest a daily calorific allowance. If you fall into either group you should consult your doctor to discuss a suitable calorific allowance and nutritional profile and enter these manually, the app can then be used as a calorie counter and diet planner.
