I would agree with the other current reviews. The app doesn't work. The scale itself works fine for the purposes of weighing items, but despite being connected to my bluetooth and the scale being next to my phone, the app never registered when something was actually on the scale itself. And if it requires that you create an account just to fully utilize some of the other features of this scale, then such was not stated in the Amazon listing.

Really unimpressed. I tried 3 separate times to add a recipe, it will not add butter. When inputting a recipe, you can't choose the most appropriate unit of measurement, so I'm Googling how many g is a C of cream and how many g is a T of parmesan. It would be nice to use a keypad to add 453g of something, instead of having to scroll for it. I also don't like that it's a separate app for the body scale and the food scale. If I can't find an app that will sync with the scale, I'm returning it.

Connection with Arboleaf food scale a bit buggy but it works. Problem is you can add your own recipes or use others, but then you have no way to log that you ate a serving. You'd have to tediously enter each ingredient into your log to record it. Pretty silly. I used Tasker to grab the info from a recipe and then add it as a custom food item in the database (like an apple or packaged food product). Then I can use that item to log a meal. Otherwise this system is only good for prepackaged foods.
