About this app

Namaz is the daily muslim prayer, also known as Salat or Salah. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and the best way of worshipping Allah the Almighty.

This app is an audio player for you to listen to the correct pronunciation of the prayers in Arabic. It will help you to learn the dua-invocations and parts of the Quran that are read inside the prayer. You will also have the texts in English transliteration and some illustrations to help you navigate through the process. All content is in accordance with the rules of the Hanafi school of law.

We strongly recommend that you learn to read the Arabic script. It will allow you to read the prayer in the best way and will give you access to the Holy Quran. The easiest and most effective way to learn both prayer and reading Arabic is to find a good teacher.

used to be an excellent app, but the new update ruined it. the new voice is distractingly unsettling. and they changed the pace of the whole prayer, so the pace in my head doesn't match the audio anymore. I wish they had a setting where I could revert it back to the old version

Not sure what has changed with the app overnight but it's so much slower when you're following along. Was a very good app until yesterday. Now it's jarring to follow. will have to uninstall and find a few app. shame as I used it daily

This app has been recommended multiple times for learning Salah and I can confirm that it's very effective! I've been using Namaz for less than 2 months and have memorized most of the prayers. Highly recommend this app for new reverts!
