The app bugs a lot when you try to log custom foods i.e. greek yogurt and its really frustrating. Also, I wish our orders tied into the app so that we could view our inventory and decide what we want to eat that day instead of looking into our cabinets and freezers. Aside from those flaws, the app is ok. I give three stars.
Not user friendly at all. Difficult to find place to enter weight. Can't delete weights incorrectly entered. Not all Nutrisystem foods in system. Progress page a jumbled mess making it difficult to read. Sticking with the Fitbit app... Much simpler to use. Also, when attempting to get technical support in app, it goes to where I can send email but technical support web address not given in address place. I would have complained there but instead complaining here, giving you a bad rating.
I can't log yesterday's food, it keeps saying it can't log prior to account creation and I didn't make my account today, so what is the problem? (Also, that's a ridiculous feature, why wouldn't I be allowed to track progress from before I set up my app account?) Pointless to use if I can't log the prior day and I will not be writing it manually. Catch up to this decade, Nutrisystem.
I have been using this app for 1 week, and I have lost 5 pounds so far. This is great because I have been dieting and exercising on my own for 9 months and lost a measly 2 pounds. What I love about the app: -Very self-explanatory -Versatile whether eating a Nutrisystem meal or cooking my own food -My husband has lost 6 pounds already too -We enjoy reading success stories and interesting articles on the app -You can track your weight on a nice chart and every food and drink you consume. What I wish they would fix: -There is a glitch when I go in to add my 2nd item on a meal. The app closes completely. -There is a discrepancy between the Nutrisystem meal kit plan booklet and the app (morning and afternoon snacks are different...) Otherwise, I love it and will continue to use app for a long time!
The scanner is great when it works. Probably about 40% of the time you have to hunt the item down to log it, which is a pain because items are not in alphabetical order. Custom items are difficult to set up and then the ap gets confused and tries to make everything entered the custom item instead of what you scanned or chose from the list. Plus, again, items added to custom don't sort alphabetically but in the order they are entered. The shortcut at the bottom is a nice feature. I wish there was a way to search for items that are not part of the plan for calories and also a way to easily import the calories and catagories for the recipes suggested in the Leaf.
I would not recommend this software. It has no instructions, for one. Secondly, I cannot access my Journal on my laptop, only on my cellphone and the two displays are not the same in every regard. For me this is a failure. Further, it tells me that I have not lost weight when in fact I have and continue to lose weight.
