It makes tracking weight, water consumption, and logging nutrisystem meals very easy, but falls short in crucial areas. It needs to have a section for tracking inches lost, even if it's just a few key body areas. Pounds lost isn't the only number that matters in dieting. Searching for and saving recipes--even ones featured in the apps newsfeed--is impossible. It also won't work if you don't have any reception. Having the ability to log food should be available even you don't have reception. This app could easily be so much better with just a few changes.
It's not bad but it could be so much more. Being able to track my food intake has helped but my main issue is with logging the food. It appears to be a crowd sourced database of food. The main issue is the way some of the items were entered. There's no way to edit what was entered by someone else even for my own entry. It works OK but needs modifications.
I like this app because it is helping me lose weight. However, it keeps crashing when I search foods, scan food, copy foods and log foods. It also doesn't find a lot of the foods and puts veggies like baby carrots under Other so I don't get credit for it. It does get frustrating when I have to keep shutting off my p hone to fix the app. Please fix this problem.
I use Numi everyday. Since using this app for 6 months, I have lost 27 pounds so far. Before Nutrisystem, I dieted and exercised on my own for 9 months and lost a measly 2 pounds. What I love about the app: -Large database of food you can scan in using the barcode. -Versatile whether eating a Nutrisystem meal or cooking my own food -My husband has lost 40 pounds already too -We enjoy reading success stories and interesting articles on the app -You can track your weight on a nice chart and every food and drink you consume. -App keeps improving (bugs fixed, thank you)
I absolutely despise this app. It is nutrisystem's new version of a mobile app. The old one was much much better and user-friendly. This one is slow and buggy, and despite claims of a huge database, it seems to have very little outside of the Nutrisystem Foods. I find fatsecret a much better app and much easier to use.
What was a very simple and easy to use app for calorie counting has turned into a Frankenstein. Getting way too complicated. Keep it simple folks or you will lose people. It actually looks like people have already started abandoning this app. It's really too bad because it worked very well for me. I've deleted it since the "upgrade".
