NuTune is a free to download music education app designed by music teachers to help musicians of all levels learn, practice, and perfect music scales in a user-friendly and easy-to-use way. The app works with over a dozen instruments including violin, flute, saxophone, piano, and more. NuTune is the first music scales app with instrument fingering, original studio recorded sound tones, integrated to align with your instrument without the need for extra plug-ins or hardware. NuTune dynamically displays all the elements associated with a music scale including number of octaves, octave placement, key, instrument fingering, rhythm, bpm with a metronome overlay option. NuTune default fingering dynamically selects an accurate fingering based on the instrument type and selected scale elements

To check if your tuning is correct, you can use the recording feature to compare intonation.

Ratings and reviews

Description doesn't tell you that only major scale is for free. All others require a subscription. No chromatic, whole tone or blues scales in any case. Other customisations are fairly thorough, looks nice. Would be good to include saving scales to lists, option for pentascales and more jnstruments. Eg. no oboe. Also get rid of login each time the app is opened. Uninstalling.

This app is horrible. It's impossible to use even with the how-to videos. I tried playing along with the scale, but the scale wouldn't even progress as I played like the how-to video showed.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Every scale option I could need and super easy to customize for whatever I need to practice. Thank you!
