This is the legacy Tablo channel for Tablo hardware models (black) sold from 2013 to 2023. This app does not support the latest Tablo 4th Gen hardware models (white). For Tablo 4th Gen (2023, white) compatible apps, look for the channel named “Tablo TV”

I've really had it with this piece of junk. It's a great concept executed as badly as it could possibly have been. SO unreliable. CONSTANTLY crashing. Timing out. Needing to be reset, AGAIN. I've had Tablo for a couple years now and use it almost soley for watching NFL. So many times I've spent 20 minutes just trying to refresh the guide to record a game later today. Eventually I'll usually set the time manually. Only to later find that it, for whatever reason, didn't record. Worse than useless.

Great app for people who like troubleshooting! It may be unfair to blame the app, but the setup of the Tablo DVR, which is done via the app, is anything but smooth. In order to set the system up for the first time, it took research on the web, removing the DVR's hard drive, plus uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All I can suggest is have patience; it ultimately did work.

Cannot Setup New Wifi Network with the App. I had to use a windows 10 computer from the webpage and it worked fine. Following the directions on the app says to connect the ethernet temporary and goes no further. Reported this issue to the support teams and they just said sorry the app didn't work but glad i got the connection fixed with a computer.
