Allows you to stream games from your computer, as well as access a Netflix-like service for games. However, there is a glaring issue... There is no button mapping / controller customizing support... Even for the official NVIDIA Shield controller. The start button is "fire?" Too bad! You can't change it. On the SHIELD K1, they've taken it a step further by crippling support for other controllers, such as the popular Dual shock 4 pad... So, not only do you have to buy NVIDIA's Bluetooth controller (which has inaccurate directions for connecting to a K1, I might add), but you still can't use any native apps to remap buttons after you do so. Massive disappointment for me, as a long time NVIDIA customer.
It's fine. But the who streaming thing won't work unless you have a 5.0ghz routerthat they recommend... I have a 5.0 GHz router and won't work well because it'd not their recommended. Because I have 75 mps WiFi... And won't run playable at all!
Pretty amazing stuff! Just wish they had better games maybe like command and conquer or make the shield console more like The Shield tablet with a button mapper. I use my tablet like the shield console on Console mode all the time and I never touch the screen. We also need a dock for the shield tablet.....
Amazing I love Nvidia, especially my Shield tablet. And I can use with my PC too.
Just keep getting check network configuration when trying to stream from my PC on the same network
Doesn't work Doesn't work since last system update
