This could have been an awesome app. Instead it's become a pain. Recording a 2nd track is impossible. You can record it easily enough but when you playback there's a stupendous lag in the 2nd track throwing everything out of time. Also I'd recorded loads of ideas and riffs for future use which I can no longer access as the date modified date has re-set to 1st Jan. 1970 so it's basically all gone... pissed off to say the least 😠
Protools I am a pro tools user so this app is a natural choice for an on phone program. It let's me record high quality samples of anything my phone can handle. I run four tracks on droid maxx and I have never had a problem. I love the basic format and everything in audio begins with a clean high bit rate recording. This app does that. Grab your headphones for up to four tracks. Its high time for some exceptional digital old school.
I love it! Recorded two songs with four tracks a piece. Guy complaining about multitrack noise needs to figure out how to use headphones! Can create a lennonesque reverb by letting recording track hear your vocal track with everything else muted. Picks up your phone's playback and records with a lag similar to slapback reverb. (Think jailhouse rock or instant karma vocal sound.) Only complaints are no pan, or eq, and the pop sound you get if you overdub where its already been recorded on that track. But hey its free!
@ Justin Parks: Took me a while to figure out how to export as well. Apparently this app still requires the old (deprecated) menu button found on legacy Android devices. Luckily you can still access the menu by long-pressing the app switcher button on most phones. This will bring up the menu that contains the mixdown option. Note to the developer: it's time to replace the old menu with an on-screen menu button! Other than that, the app works great on my LG G4. No lag or latency issues. Very basic and does exactly what it says.
Not bad. 1 annoying glitch. To paraphrase another reviewer, the timing of my first recording was off after multiple attempts to straighten this out. As a musician of nearly 30 years I KNOW the problem is not with me. On the up side, sound quality is excellent, and it got even better after the mixdown to wav format. I'd give it 5 stars and buy the pro version, if not for the timing glitch. If you fix this glitch you have one hell of app here.
Brilliant app This app works beautifully however i cant export anything. If the export feature is a pro feature then I would consider buying. I've had no problem with letancy like most of the people in reviews but over all don't install this app if you want to export your music.
