NXP Therapy Adherence

The NXP Therapy Config app accompagnies the NHS31xx Therapy Adherence Demo board. Use this app to interact with the Therapy Adherence firmware application running on the demo board.

Many patients worldwide fail to adhere to their medical therapy. This is costly and potentially dangerous. There are many factors that can influence medication-taking behaviour and responsibility cannot be put solely on the patient.
NXP's Therapy Adherence solution addresses this issue. NXP introduces all the tools you need for successful compliance management. By combining NFC-enabled smart medicine containers with a smart device app, many of the significant challenges can be dealt with in an elegant, intuitive way.

The NHS31xx IC consists of an Cortex M0+ with an embedded NFC interface, internal temperature sensor and direct battery connection. Using it, an effective system solution with a minimal number of external components becomes within reach.
The embedded ARM Cortex-M0+ offers flexibility to the users of this IC to implement their dedicated solution. On the M0+ core, it is easy to implement a monitor, tailored for each specific medicin and each patient. At any time, the chip can be interrogated to verify compliance.

The NHS3100 and NHS3152 ICs contains multiple features like various power-down modes and a selectable CPU frequency up to 8 MHz for ultra-low power consumption. Users can program them with the industry-wide standard solutions for ARM Cortex-M0+ processors.
The firmware application and this APP are part of the NHS31xx SDK - both with full sources - and ensure customers have a jump-start into creating their own tailored solutions.
