I tried to unlock 3 different bikes, each attempt to unlock kept me waiting for a minute which ultimately failed to unlock. I did try to clear mobile phone cache memory, restart app, and re-enable Bluetooth & GPS. And yes, I did try the side button. Very disappointed with the app. This experience probably explains why I witnessed many unused obikes around the vincinity.
I love the Obike concept, but not sure why the app thinks I'm in Singapore? The FB like button takes me to the Singapore page, and the cashback rewards are not usable as I don't have the appropriate bank account. No complaints except from that :)
After trying several bikes in Melbourne we were unable to unlock all but one, unfortunately there were two of us so we eventually gave up. In addition we were unable to find several bikes which showed on the map - clearly they weren't in the location indicated. A waste of time and on applying for a deposit refund we also find that they charge a 5% fee so a waste of money too since we haven't even used the service. Very dissapointing.
Very worst service this I two times try to unlock the lock not unlocked but my money only debit two times....
