Nightmare. Don't bother contacting customer services you will be on hold forever. There is no live chat it just sends a message. Delivery late by 2 hours because it snowed 2 days ago!!!! No updates nothing. Can't get through to them just waiting no end
Well designed app, great selection and the service is good
You *have* to sort out the nonsense with paying by PayPal. I expect *everyone* would expect to just have to click 'Confirm Order' (or 'Place Order...I forget what it says) but no, that results in an error. You have to click 'Add payment method' - I find it impossible to think of a more counter-intuitive step, seeing as I have the payment method I want already set up!! - jump through a set of PayPal hoops (3 or 4 screens) until finally returning to the app where you can click 'Confirm Order'. Hideous! Make it like, for example, eBay where, once the PayPal link is set up, you just click 'Pay with PayPal' and it's done!
The multi step process to checkout is so infuriating, both on web and mobile, even if I just want to add 1 product to an existing order I have to go through it again! I know you're just trying to get me to buy more stuff, but unsurprisingly it doesn't work as I scroll past all the "promotions" and go straight for the continue button 5 times over. It's a UX catastrophe.
It's annoying that you can order products based on 'Price per' as well as just 'Price' on the Ocado website but not on the app, makes the website easier to use if you're looking for the best value products, will be deleting the app and going back to the website.
