GREAT, but Needs IMPROVEMENT! This is a good app, especially because it allows me to listen to audio books for free from my library. With that said, many improvements are definitely needed. First of all, the search engine needs improvement the most; when looking through available titles, you have to go down to the bottom of each page to click the next page of titles, until you reach 'page 5', When you click on that, it sends you to page 10, skipping the pages of titles in between. You then have to manually click back to skipped pages
Worst book app I've ever used I downloaded this app because my local library decided to change to it. I've tried using it on my smartphone and on my Kindle. It downloaded the book I wanted to read on both. However, on the Kindle it flickers constantly, it doesn't open the book properly and even when it eventually does I can't turn the pages without them locking up, or scrolling back to front. My smartphone is better but the print is so large I have to keep turning the pages and that's after I set it on the smallest print setting.
Love it, but some problems I love this app, but it often loses my books and I have to re download them repeatedly throughout the week. I would also live to see an option to play the audio at 1.25, 1.5, 1.75 and 2x speed.
Not user friendly Out dated search fields, no way to put books back in que to be first when it becomes available next. You maybe already listening to one. You wait for books to listen to and then you get several at a time. Can only have 10 holds at a time.
Poor audio and auto removes downloads At times auto removes downloads, all books when return one. Renew auto removes download instead of just cont. Check out time. Audio very low on half of the books. And do not have time to fill out forms for them. Give up on calling and getting someone.
A million times better my library's other app! Love everything about this app including how if there's any interruption from Google Maps or a phone call, when it restarts it goes back a little bit to get the pace going again. Unlike like the previous app I used for my local public library, this one never freezes up and always remembers my place. Wish it had play speed options, but overall, it's great!
