In practice the application should had been fantastic. I did a search for several books, that I am currently reading. George Orwell - 1984. Keith Houghton - No coming back. A few Sigmund Freud books. Miserable to say that none were available. Return to multi tasking the old fashioned way. Also I would like to mention; the marketing card given to me at the library stated that all I need to do was download the APP to registar. Good in theroy, not in practice. Had to use website address. Not easy, not going to retrieve my time wasted.
Audio pause Other audio-book apps work well with the audio jack pause and volume. One-Click has not. It would be a great improvement for the pause feature of wired audio jack and/or Bluetooth to function so that I can have conversations and involvement without handling the phone. Please advise if this can be made available, so that One-Click is more functional with me activities. Thanks for a great app on all else, as this has been working flawlessly since installing on my Motorola Droid Turbo.
It USED to be glorious, what has happened? Have been using this app to obtain my library audio loans. It has been a GREAT success for almost 2yrs. Easy to operate, easy to search the library, save etc. The last 4 months "one click" seems to have died! Have uninstalled and reinstalled, etc and the whole program seems to have ground to a halt. It may take 10minutes before responding. Whatever has happened please fix it so we can once again use this fantastic app. If not the library service needs a new means of internet app.
I am am loving the fact that I can check out audio books from the online public library! The selection is not the greatest as far as new releases but the library is full of classics which I had hard time reading but really enjoy listening to. The app is a little hard to get used to but once you do it is very easy to use
I love this app! I'm in my car a lot, audio books make the time go by faster and are way better than the radio. It's also great to have my stories pick right back up where i left them. I wish there were a larger selection of books though and that Chicago had more than one copy of new releases for the whole darn city!
Can't Use the Menu Our library recently broke up with Overdrive and we now have to use One Click for our audiobooks. One Click is clunky and not terribly user-friendly, but actually usable on my android phone. However, it is completely unusable on my Nook tablet because I am unable to select anything from the drop down menus. This means I can't browse the selections or access the titles I checked out on my other device to download and listen to them on the Nook.
