Edit: downgrading to 1 star because the app continues to show ads that block you from using it for several seconds. This is completely unacceptable. It's a fine enough app that works for toggling the noise cancellation and changing what the controls do. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because it has started showing popup ads for other Soundcore products about once a month for a couple of days in a row, blocking access to the app for several seconds. This is unacceptable.

The unskippable ad is back. Now it's a popup that won't go away. I only want to use the EQ for my speaker, but the app is completely inaccessible until I click the tiny X to close the ad. It's so frustrating and counterproductive. I'll keep using the app for now, but one day this speaker will stop working. When it does I will never buy this brand again. Sorry Anker/Soundcore, but you have lost a future customer. And I'll tell everyone I know to buy a different brand.

Going through the steps to remove a dual connection doesn't actually remove it. They're just permanently connected. Super cool. update: even better, ordered a second pair of the same earbuds since they went on sale for $50 but they don't support connecting to both at the same time. Love being punished for buying a second product. The good news is you can set the settings and never need the app again, it's not like you can edit dual connections anyway
