Object of the Game gin rummy

The object of the gin rummy game is to collect a hand where most or all of the cards can be combined into sets and runs and the point value of the remaining unmatched cards is low.
A run or sequence consists of three or more cards of the same suit in consecutive order, such as ♣ 4, ♣ 5, ♣ 6 or ♥ 7, ♥ 8, ♥ 9, ♥ 10, ♥ J.
A set or group is three or four cards of the same rank, such as ♦ 7, ♥ 7, ♠ 7.
A card can belong to only one combination at a time - you cannot use the same card as part of both a set of equal cards and a sequence of consecutive cards at the same time. For example,
If you have ♦ 7, ♠ 7, ♥ 7, ♥ 8, ♥ 9 you can use the ♥ 7 either to make a set of three sevens or a ♥ sequence, but not both at once. To form a set and a sequence you would need a sixth card - either a ♣ 7 or a ♥ 10.

Note that in gin rummy the Ace is always low. A-2-3 is a valid sequence but A-K-Q is not.

Variations in our gin rummy
-In standard gin, only a player with 10 or fewer points of deadwood may knock.
-Knocking with 0 points of deadwood is known as going gin or having a gin hand while knocking with deadwood points is known as going down.

Straight in our gin rummy
-Is a version of our gin rummy in which there is no knocking. Both players attempt to get gin, and the player who gins first is the winner.

Oklahoma in our gin rummy
-In this popular variation, the value of the original face-up card determines the maximum count of unmatched cards with which it is possible to knock.
-Pictures denote 10 as usual. So if a seven is turned up, in order to knock you must reduce your count to 7 or fewer.

It's not the first time this app has made my winning hand into a loss. It rearranged the cards thereby giving me deadwood higher than my opponent's. I was playing Straight Rummy and should have no deadwood in order to hit the Gin button. Fix this glitch please. I have a screenshot of the hand I wish I could upload.

I should have gotten gin while playing Straight Gin but when I pressed 'Gin' button the cards were rearranged and gave me 19 as the deadwood pile. I had a have of three 8 and 9,10, jack queen of hearts and 8,9,10 of clubs. It shifted the 8 of clubs to the hand with the 8s and left me with the 19 which was then given to my opponent and I lost the game.

Excellent game! Best gin rummy game that I ever installed! I've installed ithers and they were uninstalled too quickly because they were too many ads or too cut throat. Worth downloading!
