The best part of this app is the questions, which give you match percentages based on your preferences in multiple categories. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't answer many questions, which makes me question the accuracy of the algorithm. The bios are very detailed though, so i can usually still judge for myself.
The majority of all girls on here are fat weird and ghostly White. All of the girls ive met are definitely not someone i would have a serious relationship with. The only pro to this app is its free. The best way to make people still is in person that way you know what you're getting into without meeting someone blindly
With all the poor decisions this company has been making. With turning it into pretty much a hook up AP with little regard to the personal safety of their users, I can't use it anymore. I've met friends on here over the decade I've been using OKcupid. Just everything died after the first of the year. I have better luck in real life.
hate the update to messages. I feel like they should listen to users instead of pasting, "Sorry for the confusion". If you eliminate the ease of people to access their messages without strenuous effort, it would eliminate good and bad messages for people who don't want to invest too much time searching. Adults don't need censorship or some version of it.
This USED to be a good sign goes site. The new changes in messaging have completely nullified it - now you lose the ability to see the profile of someone you message. I get it - protect the recipient from unwanted mail. But way too far here. You have to be a mutual like match to begin with in order for the site to not delete the profile you're trying to read more about. It becomes worthless. Don't waste your money here. Seriously. I used to think very highly of this site but now it's infuriating to waste money here. Use other sites like eHarmony or Zoosk. The match% used to work but now with these new email/view changes it's useless. Steer clear.
The new unmatch feature is much needed but poorly implemented. Currently it is just a fancy block button (they'll actually show up in your blocked users list). If I wanted to block them, I would with the block button. What it should be is a clean slate: you unlike each other and deletes all communication (that way the option to rematch sometimes down the road remains).
- When viewing a first message on a user's profile, you'll now see the photo or essay that the sender was commenting on directly within the message box.
- If you match with someone and no longer want to communicate with them, you can hit the un-match button to remove them from your conversations.
