Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.

While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).

We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

This app was working fine a few months ago but now it fails to open. I'm assuming it was the recent update that's interfering & preventing it to function properly. Uninstalling then re-installing has caused such an inconvenience for me. I have to contact the help desk/IT department at my workplace to set in my credentials for this app multiple times. I've tried restarting my phone, re-opening the app, just for it to briefly work and then I'm back the beginning of the cycle of troubleshooting

2 step verification is never fun, Okta makes it a truly terrible experience. I have had to resend the push notification so many times I'm actually counting the hours I'm losing with this app. It also randomly keeps asking me to let it run in the background even though it already is. To top it all off I have to do this after 10 minutes of inactivity so I'm constantly having login failures with my site. At this point it might just be cheaper to let people steal all my data.

Worked great until I got a new phone. Let's you choose the option to add from an old device but the app itself doesn't let you. There are instructions but the app itself doesnt have the options the help/faq says it has. My app is up to date. It's inconvenient to have to use my old phone to use the app. Not user friendly.
