1st one died after a month. 2nd wouldnt pair without old one being removed. App would not unpair old one, had to uninstall app to do so, losing all history. I am dying of heart failure, I dont have time to get this stuff to pair and work symbiotically with each other.
What a cheesy app from a seasoned company, making quality machines. The export function, limiting data exports to CSV files only is a show stopper in and of itself, should relegate this app to the hunter/gatherer crowd of a bygone era. Doesn't seem to alert to low blood pressure numbers, only high. What's up with that? Very happy with the Omron BP786N, but the app is a BIG disappointment.
Somewhere in the last few months, possibly related to Android 8, this application no longer pairs with the devices. Even deleting profiles and recreating will not get the device and app to pair/sync. So basically useless.
Overall I love my Omron BP monitor, connects to my phone and uploads my readings with ease. Only issue I've found so far is the app will not attach my readings to my email when I attempt to share them. If that glitch can be fixed I would have rated the app 5 stars.
Samsung has finally corrected the BT issue that started 7/8/2017, today, 9/14/2017. Omron is great again! I have been using the BP786N with the app installed on my Galaxy 5 for a year or so with few problems. My Omron app is up to date and my Android phone is up to date (version 6). My sync no longer works with the last successful sync last Sunday. It appears as though I'm not alone.
It's pretty crappy software considering how nicely Omron 10 is itself. No help... Just a ridiculous faq that tells you all about what everyone knows and nothing about the app. I mean I could write documentation for this thing in an hour if I knew the answers to a few questions. The Bluetooth is unreliable. There is no export. Email and share? You can send an empty advertisement for the app.
