Samsung Edge 6 + received a new operating system update from my cellphone subscriber and the app won't pair up with my BP761N. Another user posted the same issue. Worked great before. I updated the new Samsung Galaxy 6 + OP system around April 26 2017. The new Android version is 7.0 I give it 5 stars based on past performance.
Samsung Note 5 with Android 7, app won't find the monitor. The PHONE sees the monitor just fine. This app stinks. As I understand it, Bluetooth isn't difficult to implement, and doesn't rely on specific operating systems. Omron should hire somebody that knows how to do Bluetooth to get this app working, because obviously, they don't have a clue how to do it.
Saves all your data and even after switching devices you don't have to redo blue tooth pairing, it remembers your machine and backs up all your logs. Not sure why others have such difficulty with it. My experiences are s5 and s7 with my BP786N.
Used to work, but now doesn't. Called customer service and their response was that since I have a Nexus 5, I was out of luck, should have bought a Samsung. Forget them! I wouldn't buy a Samsung even if it were my only choice! UPDATE: Now it pairs with the new version, but it can't find it after pairing. This review stays at 1 star until it's fixed. UPDATE 2: Now it won't even pair. Still one star. UPDATE 3: New version, new phone, same old problem. Are y'all even trying OMRON? UPDATE 4: Still garbage. Have you given up?
How is it that every other bluetooth device I own pairs flawlessly with Android 7.0 EXCEPT for the brand new BP654 I just purchased. The cuff is terrific...this app is complete garbage! I expected much more from an industry leader like Omron. Very disappointed.
This app has never been able to pair with my BP786 blood pressure monitor. The phone sees the blood pressure monitor via Bluetooth, but the Omron app keep saying it can't find the BP786. i just tried again, because there was an app update to address "bug fixes," but it still doesn't work.
