I would not recommend this app. It is not user friendly. I purchased the monitor yesterday and have been trying to install it on both the tablet and the cell phone with no luck. The app never appears on the tablet although it says it is installed. And in the cell phone I get a blue screen. I follow the instruction to get rid of the blue screen but nothing happens. I guess I will have to send it back. The monitor itself you cannot see previous readings, only the one just taken. The device is also about twenty points below the reading on the systolic and ten points on the diastolic. The only right reading is the pulse.
I actually think this is the first app that actually raises my blood pressure trying to sync with one of its devices, the Omron Evolve BP device. After much trial and error, the app finally found it and connected. The app allows to email the readings to yourself or anyone in excel format but the only connected services are to Walgreens. There is nothing to S-Health (one of the partners) using the Galaxy S7 Edge. One still has to have the app open along with the S-Health app to sync the readings to S-Health. I also find it weird that the app does not sync to the Omron Wellness app. Other than these minor shortcomings, the app is fine.
I have several Omron BP monitors and just got the Evolv. It words well. They should have added the time the BP was taken in the hardware display. The connect app can not download a CSV file or anything and I thought this was a joke. but its not. It is is inconceivable based on Omron's past products and the market needs, that no download is possible. This shows a total ignorance of the market ;Omron owns] and what customers want. The connect app graphics were written by someone who didnt hasve clue about graphic presentation Really disappointed . The old Omron software showed morning daytime and evening color bars. This is useful for those with morning Hypertension. Omron should be ashamed of this Connect software
Just bought when released at Walgreens. Easy setup pairing pairing with S7 edge..Just noticed app doesnt have spot for Dr info. Just E-mail...Could you make the app better for med info,, Name of Med. and . Med taken/ not taken ...Again thank you. Great customer service too
App will not open. It opens to blue screen. Please help or I'll have no choice but to return the blood pressure monitor.
You have to be connected with WiFi or cellular data to transfer any reading from the EVLOV via bluetooth to your Android or Apple device .The app will not even open without an internet connection. A device that syncs though Bluetooth coupled with an app that will not work without cell service or WiFi is useless to me being I have neither WiFi or cellular service in my home.
