Wow! This is seriously powerful stuff! I'm experimenting with this on a Droid Maxx, an LG Tablet, and an old Windows 7 laptop. Streaming FLAC files from the laptop to the phone and using the tablet as a remote. So far, it's all working just as advertised! I have been messing with a Squeebox Server for a few years and it never seems to be working right. This is working perfectly and I didn't have to do any set up at all. Just install the software. And, yes, it's working across the internet, not just over wifi. WOW All my FLAC files available, everywhere, anytime! That's impressive!
I've sideloaded the app onto the Note 5, which Google Play shows this device not compatible, not sure why or what is the problem. However the app does cause the Note 5 running 6.0.1, to reboot after a nominal amount of time using the app. Since this is a popular device, I would think this would be addressed. The Note 5 has been out since last year, and I'm sure this is moving towards being a paid app.
It's OK for now seems to drop my WiFi speakers/TV/Neet and can't see how to play Nas shares...
Too laggy 20 sec before PC starts playing song i selected on Phone..
Always says server error. I can never login .
Excellent app. Great start. I've been looking for something simple like this for years. Would love to see a working shuffle and replay button for the playlist/queue.
