Original post:)Overall a great app, but the recent inclusion of an un-pausable, un-mutable, un-skippable banner ad (for Hooters, of all things), that pops in and out randomly every few minutes is driving me up a wall. I'm seriously considering switching to the official reddit app. I'm sure Baconreader will be fine again once these ads have worked their way out of the rotation, but until then it's incredibly frustrating.

This app sends you to the source of a news article when you click on the thumbnail. I like this. However, it does the same thing for videos now. Now it takes me to the Reddit website and it takes forever for the video to load, where as before the app simply played the video without being redirected. It's so trash. Edit: This app is no longer trash. It's now the opposite. Thanks for the fix guys. The app is amazing again!

I've used this app for a few years but I think it's time to find a new one. Seems like every update makes videos unwatchable, and there's just more and more ads. Edit: I stand corrected, I tried the video quality fix they suggested in the response and that seems to have solved it. Still more ads than I'd like, but at least I can see the content!
