Backed up data, confirmed backup folder and files present. Wiped and flashed new ROM, attempted to restore but the only option that I get is to scan a QR code on a new phone. Can't restore data from the same phone. That should be easy.
How should I be able to backup 80 GB on my 128GB OP3T on remaining 40 GB????? I think it would have any point if you can backup directly to PC using USB or WiFi, or in cloud. And make possible app data transfer at least for transfer or backup from OnePlus phone, where it is system app and can access it.
I like the app but should have option of even cloning the data (all the settings, app data etc) from the other device by WiFi or even by just connecting both the devices through C ports (any wire). Could be more simpler and better..
"Backup" folder is created by the app even if a "backup" folder already exists, resulting in problems with accessing the backup data with default OnePlus file manager app (on OP3T, OB22).
Stop wasting time and resources on pointless apps (that Google already does). And use them to test OS updates and deployment. Plus on your support team. Poor.
Force quits on old device when trying to connect to new device
* Added data backup function, which can backup your data locally in the OnePlus phone
* Fixed the issue of crashing on some non-OnePlus phones
* Improved the speed of QR code scanning when connecting two devices
