Gave it another shot I had a world of trouble the first time I downloaded this app. I uninstalled it off my phone, but after looking at other apps this was still the most appealing. Here is a tip I learned the hard way. Rename and edit all your catagories to suit your needs Before you start adding transactions. It does not save edits after you've already put in transactions, no matter if they are expense or income. Tech support was helpful, and hopefully this glitch will be corrected with the next update.
Excellent app Very well done app that I use daily. Had a problem with an error I got today and it got fixed today! So 5 stars for an excellent app and excellent service to boot.
Extensive and Powerful Tool I used to use Excel spreadsheets to keep organized. This app is exactly what I need to keep financially organized. Very efficient for everyday use. Fifth star: current balance has (Today) option against (End of Month) like every account has. False idea of money I have NOW, atm. Search filter is insufficient; needs daily reset. Also, a widget to select a template and $ amount with +/- would be nice (4x2 size?). Saves time for small transactions. Overall, wonderful app to have in these expensive days.
Good app Will wait for you to support multiple-lined Comments using my native keyboard. ;)
Great functionality and aesthetics at a reasonable price; a comprehensive in-app help/manual and minimal permissions seal the deal. Coming from the ad-supported, free version of MoneyWise, "My Budget Book" feels a lot more current and robust. The lack of Internet permission is a mixed blessing: security at the cost of easier syncing. For now, I'm fine with that; perhaps when Android gets its act together with the user-controlled permissions expected with "M", the developer can include the Internet permission and native syncing for the user's choosing. Recommended.
Love this app Easy to use/set up. I especially like the templates. They are a great time saver for places I regularly shop. I used Expense IQ for several years but the ads became so intrusive (a $10 chg to eliminate them) that I looked for something else. I like this app much better. Well worth $2.99.
You can now select multiple accounts in the export and detailed search dialog (like the account selection by clicking on the bottom area with your balance). More multi-select dialogs are already planned.
CSV files and backups (*.mhs) can now be opened from a file manager or an email attachment so you can import it directly.
All changes can be found in the "info" dialog.
