About this app

OnionLock allows you to use an email address and a (very, very!) long password or phrase to create a unique ID in which your friends, family, or other people can encrypt files to. There are no other keys to manage, you only have to remember your email and password/phrase. This ID is portable: you can use the same email and password/phrase combination across all platforms and devices.* There is no central server, and no login data needs to be sent anywhere.

Features include:
*Encrypted address book
*Multiple recipients
*Saving your session on your device so you don't have to unlock every time
*Share your ID or import your friend's via QR code scanning (3rd party app required)

*This application uses, and is fully compatible with, the miniLock file format: https://minilock.io/

Permissions:
Internet/Access WiFi/Network state: Ads
Read/write external storage: Read and write encrypted/decrypted files

If you have miniLock for Chrome, you should definitely get this for your Android phone. Encrypting/decrypting files is fairly simple, but the UI makes the process a bit confusing the first time. Would recommend using a file explorer to complement this app when opening the miniLock files. RECOMMENDATIONS: -Decryption notification should have a notification click -Make the encryption process more straightfoward -Material design UI refresh (nit picking; not completely necessary)

PROS:Works both ways with the miniLock chrome app! Lightweight and fast. |CONS:UI needs improvement; Bug makes stored addresses disappear; file picker integration desperately needed.CONCLUSION: Love the app and look forward to see improvements.

UI is a bit confusing when selecting where to load and save files from, and it lacks the "random filename" option but those are minor niggles. Thanks for this!
