Basically, everything this application does can be managed by a Facebook page or event respectively. Facebook is free to use though and just about everyone has access to it. Whether thru the library, cellphone and so on. By comparison, this app requires a smartphone and you must have battery life. If your phone battery dies with Facebook, you can just move to one of the Pcs free for student use. If your phone battery dies with this app, though luck. I'm wondering how much per year or in total the student association paid for what's basically a Facebook clone in an app. Could we be saving money by just having a Facebook group and events? Do already create Facebook events making this application redundant? Just food for thought.
