This used to be the best browser for Android and the user interface still outpaces Chrome by a walloping margin. However, Opera has taken to adding tons of features beyond the browser and has for 6 months or so reliably caused my phone to reboot when I use it — I.e., Opera isn't just crashing; it's doing something that triggers an integrity check at the OS level. Until that's repaired, Opera isn't usable.
Latest UI update make speed dial options harder to access. The previous UI was better. Clearing history upon exit should be made an automatic option instead of prompting every time the Exit option is selected. Also, please add an option in the overflow menu to request the desktop website. Newsfeed should be loosely coupled from Opera for those who don't want this feature.
After last update app crash frequently. This Ooops cat often appears on screen. And I think that there is huge memory leak somewhere because after 10 min of surfing complete home screen resets and it is not avaliable for next 5 seconds. I think that after years of using Opera I will give up from it. I'm on edge to uninstall it permanently.
I don't know how much google bribed opera officials to take away features. From ages I am requesting Opera to give a backup option for Speed Dial links, bookmarks, saved pages without creating a account. I just want to reset my mobile. Pathetic!
I think, that this it would be a good layout for Desktops to, but people who are using other browsers don't experiment often. The Opera is good on mobile, your going to need 4.0 Android to run it, if you have an older phone there is still an Opera to suit you and it will be better then the one that came with it! I like the IPad one as well the only thing is the newest feed I don't think much to the editorial.
My phone has 1gig of ram and opera is using 335megs of it!!! Why?? I've disabled the news feed yet it continues to run in the background using up more than 300 MB of my ram. How am I saving data when the news feed is constantly updating itself Incase I decide to reactivate it?
