Ratings and reviews

Loved Opera for a long time, but it's becoming more and more like Google Chrome. Forces you to use Google Lens to search for images (and you can't turn it off under the flags route), can't stop autoplay of media. I'm going to assume they're coming for tabs next to complete the full transition to Chrome Lite. Time to begin looking elsewhere.

It's fine, but lacks the basic functionality seen in many other mobile browsers (you can't reorder your tabs at all) and it also lacks the specializations of their computer versions (Islands, workspaces, paste to upload, etc). While the app is much prettier and modernized, the missing functionalities makes it feel like a dumbed down browser. GOOD NEWS: The speed dial ads that some reviews complain about are not present anymore. Unlike Opera GX, it's usable with tablet UI (sans reordering).

Love it but needs some slight work with the ad blocker and pop up blocker. I've been noticing that more and more sites are getting through with either opening sites in a new tab or on screen pop-ups. I love opera, I've used it for years as my go to on desktop and have switched to gx there. If these small things can be addressed it would be my perfect browser again.
