Has improved the experience I'm now able to use this beta full time with the tweaks and changes since the initial overhaul. Still wish I could turn off the tiles that display under the URL field. Edit: it's definitely grown on me after all the latest tweaks. I'm no longer considering the need to return to the pre-change version :) Good job fellas.
Leaves things to be desired Works mostly well (as always), but the changes to the UI feel backwards. Close buttons on tabs are on the left - if this must be the default, then at least provide the option to have them on the right. What I'm used to as a new tab button actually opens search - and if I still want to open a new tab, I must reach all the way to the left, which is counter ergonomic. Bookmarks and history are buried in a menu. I'm using the tablet UI on a fairly large phone. The phone UI doesn't work well for me.
By far my favorite browser Fast and reliable. After using this for about a month I must say goodbye to chrome because this has out performed any Android browser I've ever used it even saves data by blocking ads this app has given me all pros no cons, thanks Opera keep it up. 👍
Love this This app is awesome. Love the Dials as much as the desktop version. The buttons are placed perfectly. Smooth Fast. Functionality, settings, icons etc is stupid easy to translate. So happy the option is provided to show/hide the News bar. Settings user friendly and gives a feeling of personalized preference. The up/down arrows that appear when scrolling to jump to top or bottom of page... Awesome! Home button to jump back to Dials...Love. Again the annoying IE assassinated (perhaps Chrome too)
Nice new interface Like new fullscreen option interface but seems laggy and not as good as old version for removing ads. Suggestions for improvement: 1. Add blocker doesn't work as well as stable version. 2. Don't like the way it opens new tabs each time you press speed dial. 3.Option to turn off warning about closing tabs when you press exit button so you can press one button to exact quickly. Otherwise like most of it.
A good alternative to Chrome. A nice, clean modern browser that works well. There are only two key improvements I can recommend: the first is a reader mode like Safari and Firefox have, which, is quite frankly a necessity in this day and age. The reader mode should have an enlarge text option and an option to display white text on black background for easy nighttime reading. The other recommendation that I have is to speed up rendering of web pages without the data saver on. Otherwise, Opera looks set to be a good alternative to Chrome.
Update: Bug fixes
- A Chromium upgrade to version 54

- Option to clean browsing data and history on exit
- New fresh share menu
