Terrible functionality. When this app loads, it completely eliminates turning ability. Without ability to turn crashes are imminent and unavoidable. Once you turn the app off, functionality returns. Note: it also performs erratically and resists action by controls on remote. Please, please, fix this app. With such an expensive drone support of app is essential. Also, this is not a single event. A YouTube review showed this exact issue. He gave a bad review of the Holy Stone HS700E .

After reading all the negative reviews about this app I was not really looking forward to using my new HS700E drone, but the experience was actually fantastic. I don't know what everyone is doing wrong, but I'll tell you what worked for me. Turn on the controller, turn on the drone, place your phone in airplane mode, turn on your phone's wifi and connect to the drone's wifi. ALLOW THE DRONE TO GPS LOCK then fly. It's really that simple. I flew until the batteries got low with no problems at all.

I understand the difficulties in getting this to work with the various phone types. I have a Samsung S20 5G UW running (Android version 10, UI version 2.5,kernel version 4.19.81) every function works except for the camera live feed. Update: I fold an older version of the phone that allows me to get full functionality. Only downside is I have to restart the phone before calibrating the drone process. App is a hit or miss would love for it to be more consistent with Android phones. Also Airplane mode is another suggested fix when trying to get full functions to work.
