This app is a waste, the website as well, optimum may be cheaper but you can do so much more with the Verizon App and website, you don't even need to use the website because the app has everything! I have to call optimum if I need to do something and we all know optimum doesn't have anyone from the states working, they are all overseas and dont understand our frustration because they don't use the service.

Well, the app works good for the most part, but since about 6 months ago or so, the option to manage household is given me an error when I try to use it to tweak some settings for the profiles I have setup. It says there is an outage in my area and it can't connect to my network...but all the other parts of the app do work and can connect to my network. I called optimum and they have no idea what to do. I tried restarting my router and made sure the app is up to date.

This app couldn't be more useless if the developers were actively trying rather than simply ignorant. If you have an outage, the app will pop up with a message and a "More Info" button. Clicking on that button takes you to the website where you receive a message "no outages in your area". The app literally redirects you to the site for EVERYTHING, and WITHOUT FAIL the two are never in sync. As a developer myself, I would be embarrassed to put out this level of garbage.
