App doesn't work with Android 8.0. Tech support knew about it and said Optimum properly won't fix until lots of people complain. Issues: 1. can't play DVR content 2. can't connect external monitor (Optimum is worried about losing cable box fee 3. can't run app in split screen or in background so if you want to check a text - app closes
I have called customer service about the bugs in this app and you get the same run around. The engineers are working to fix the 7.0 version for android devises. This has been the same excuse for over a month. False advertising commercials stating it works for all devises. Optimum has always been ghetto for years and continues to be.
waste of time app is garbage! whats the point of (on the go) if you have to download separate apps.. very dumb & pointless.. verizon's app has real on the go tv.. completely a waste of good space on my device! gotta do way better.. services way too expensive to have a crappy app!
The is is pointless. Why should customers download an app and sign in, just to be redirected to another site to download, and create accounts for other apps? I see no benefit here. This app is currently a waste of time. It's only good as a TV/Channel guide. Definitely NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. Currently an "F".
I have optimum online and should be able to use this to connect to passpoint wifi because I'm a customer, yet this app requires a subscription to cable, which I don't need. They're just hiding an essential feature for their services behind a pay wall which is absolutely indefensible.
Can only watch on your IP and some stations need to be watched on their own app. Cut the cord and avoid aggravation. Streaming is where it's at. Cheaper, don't need to pay for their equipment, and can watch and cast to multiple devices.
