Live Air by Kaiterra

Developed by Kaiterra, a leading company in air quality monitoring, Live Air presents real-time air quality information on a hyperlocal level.

Live Air relies on aggregated data from 3.9 million mentioned searchable locations, over 12,000 global official government stations as well as from Kaiterra-owned outdoor air quality monitors and satellite imagery. This information is then processed with other environmental data, such as elevation levels, to generate precise updates about the air quality at a specific location.

Air pollution is a global issue, and at Kaiterra, we believe data is the ultimate solution to put an end to it. We hope Live Air empowers you with the knowledge you need to breathe better and drive more positive changes to our environment.

Doesn't WiFi. Seems like the developer knows about this issue since 2017, from the comments section, but has not done anything to rectify the same issue of connection. Possibly a design flaw, so keeping quiet as nothing they can do about it. Seems we all have the same problem with connection to WiFi. Something you don't expect with such an expensive device. (especially as cheap items connect really well nowadays!)

I like the idea behind this app. It shows nicely the co2, temperature, humanity and AQI with some history. However I have some comments. The graph could be a bit better. If there is not a lot of difference in the data, for example temperature, you have no idea what the temperature was. Not a min and max, or difference. Secondly, the egg software itself. If the wifi connection stays active, but for a small period the internet isn't reachable, the device goes offline and doesn't log the data

After 2 previous failed attempts to get the app to work the most recent update of the app is working without any issues on OnePlus 6t. It is good to see the app getting new features as time goes. Not a big fan of the graph style in the app, feels like the gaps are too big between bars and lacks horizontal reference. Although it does look nice its not that readable. Special mention to the people who work at Kaiterra who went the extra mile to assist.
