About this app

Important
Read the FAQ in app before you rate or review the app. Internal Audio using magisk module WILL NOT output audio via speaker and IT IS NOT A BUG! There is no "fix" for it and any request for "fixing" it will be ignored.

Description
ScreenCam does not need any root access to record your screen and works on all phones with Android Lollipop 5.0 and above.
You can also record audio along with the screen recording and get it beautifully combined with recorded video.

Choose from different resolutions, frames per second and bitrate for the best choice of quality and size of the video or make use of the app shortcut in android 7.1 nougat or in any custom launcher supporting app shortcuts. There are no ads or any price attached to it. ScreenCam is the best lightweight and functional screen recorder available on the market.

You can also pause or resume the recording seamlessly (currently only works on Android Nougat 7.0 and above) and an option to change the save directory.

Features:
• No ads (duh! who likes them anyway?)
• Works without root
• Works on Lollipop 5.0 and above
• Choose between different bitrates/resolution/FPS

Exactly what I've been looking for. I had to root my phone in order for this app to record internal audio (with no mic audio), which was complicated, but worth it. My wishlist for future updates? * Increase the app's capacity to record higher volume. I have to crank the volume of the app I record to its MAX for it to sound normal on the recording. Otherwise it's very quiet. * Add a recording delay option. It's annoying to swipe away the record bar at the top (or just wait) for it to disappear.

This screen recorder is good, but there is an issue I have encountered with this app several times when I finish recording a video. Basically, after the video saves it appears as 0 bytes. You can open it using a file manager and it plays fine, but it doesn't appear in the gallery or in a video editor. I have to convert the video using the app Video Converter before I can do anything to it. I'm not completely sure if this is a device encoding problem or the apps fault.

Good old and trusty, love it. I should let you know dev that there is a bug when screencam is set to target an app that has since been unnistalled. The app crashes when you start recording, and sometimes also when you open it. I advice that you add a behavior for the app to do something when it detects that it can't find the target app anymore. Either disable target app or warn the user when they try to start recording. Also, that migration bug is still there

What's new

* Redesigned app from scratch
* Use new SAF framework - custom storage location no longer possible
* Split video if size grows beyond 3.5GB to prevent file corruption
