About this app

OrthoFace combines real-time ARCore facial-surface tracking with proportional measurement, green/red geometric review, Marquardt and polyhedral masks, colour planning and direct touch painting.

A clear camera-first interface keeps the tracked face visible. Compact symbols open the φ advisor, paint tools, 16 masks, camera/preview comparison and exports. Panels can collapse, close or disappear completely; dense points, mesh lines, IDs and PCA planes remain off until requested.

MEASUREMENTS AND STATUS
OrthoFace uses the complete 468-point ARCore face surface and 898 triangles. It maps 28 midline points, 220 left/right pairs, 30 anatomical landmarks and eight regional asymmetry groups. The live catalogue contains 50 relationships: 10 basic proportions, 8 depth-aware 3D relationships, 2 φ², 3 φ³, 12 curve/spline, 10 Marquardt and 5 pentagonal/polyhedral relationships.

Green means the current ratio is inside target ± the selected tolerance. Red means outside the band. Yellow in bilateral analysis means above one sensitivity threshold but no more than twice it. These are experimental geometric review cues—not diagnoses, defect labels, treatment indications or attractiveness scores.

COLOUR AND PAINT
Choose colours from a live skin sample, a locally analysed camera/imported reference image, a hybrid of both, or an exact HEX value. Review 29 facial zones and ten make-up roles. Paint directly over the tracked or frozen face. The brush follows connected triangle edges in millimetres to reduce jumps across nearby air gaps. Mirror uses 220 mapped bilateral pairs. Undo, redo, eraser, clear and zone fill are included.

MASKS
Select Hidden, points, measured φ, height/width, φ³, pentagon, Marquardt scaffold, curves/splines, guide grid, True Marquardt, dodecahedron, icosahedron, true pentagon, canonical golden dodecahedron, camera-fitted dodecahedron or the full schematic. The major constructions are separate geometries rather than duplicated names.

PERFORMANCE
Balanced keeps the camera/colour renderer live while expensive analysis updates at about 4 Hz. Cool reduces sustained heat; Responsive increases calculation response for short sessions. Android thermal status automatically reduces heavy processing when needed.

PRIVACY AND EXPORT
The camera stays off until Privacy, Terms and informed consent are accepted. Face analysis, colour planning and reference-palette reduction are performed locally by this source build. Nothing is exported automatically. The user chooses destinations for reports, CSV/JSON, coloured PLY, OBJ/STL, mask PNG/SVG/OBJ, screenshots and complete ZIP packages. Google Play Services for AR is provided by Google and is governed by Google’s terms and privacy practices.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
OrthoFace is an educational face-geometry, colour-placement and make-up visualization tool. It is not a medical device, dermatology assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan, surgery simulation, identity system, objective beauty score or guarantee of a physical product result. Camera-derived values and displayed colours vary with device, lighting, pose, expression, motion, white balance, display calibration and tracking. Use only with the freely given permission of the person shown and protect exported facial files.
